Professional Bodies

Electrical Engineers Technical Association (EETA),KMEA Engineering College: Association activities inculcate leadership skills in students by giving them the facility to conduct various technical and non-technical activities.

Institution of Engineers(IEI) Membership: IEI activities in college allow faculty members and students of the department to be part of the core industry and interact with academicians.

The student branch of IEEE KMEA was formed in 2012 with the aim to improve the student skills and equip them with rapidly improving industrial demands. IEEE KMEA SB regularly conducts training programmes, talks, skill development sessions, technical competitions and workshops.

Second semester students are members of IETE. All the faculties of the EEE Department are members of IEI.

IEEE PELS students chapter started in December 2023 with the aim of increasing the research aspect of the students. PELS provides a platform for students interested in power electronics to engage with like-minded peers, access resources, and participate in activities such as workshops, seminars, and conferences related to power electronics. This student chapter was inaugurated on 5/2/24 by Shone Jose, Vice Chair- IEEE Indian Council.
