The Women’s Forum of KMEA Engg College was started with the aim of empowering and equipping the womens to attain their own stand in a competing world and to achieve thriving mile stones of success in their life. The Women’s Forum was formed with the aim of reuniting all the female employees of the college, Teaching and Non-Teaching and girls students of the college. It organizes discussions, seminars and awareness programmes focusing mainly on women’s issues and needs in tune with the times. The aim is to encourage the overall development of women and creating awareness on health, improving interpersonal skills and to adapt with socio economic environment within and outside the college campus.

Recent Activities
Food Fest & Mehandi Design Competition
The Women’s Forum of KMEA Engineering College conducted Food Fest and Mehandi design competition, a charity based programme on 19th Nov 2018.The aim of the programme was to raise fund for the needy at certain circumstances.The programme was inaugrated by Dr.Rekha Lakshmanan,Vice-Principal and motivated the members of the forum to conduct more charity based programmes. The members of the forum prepared tasty and delicious food items. All the students actively participated and the programme was a grand success.
Inspirational Talk
The Women’s Forum conducted an inspirational talk on “Girls of today be wonderful women of tomorrow” by Dr. Mary Matilda, Special Grade Principal(Rtd), Maharajas College on 25th March 2019. She erged the women community to develope the willpower to say “NO” to any action against them and take right decision at the right time.
