An electronics incubator named ‘Technolabz’ has been established in KMEA campus by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Govt. of Kerala. It supports student startup incubation, where the students and staff of KMEA could convert their ideas/prototypes into startups. The incubator has adequate space and electronic facilities to conduct innovative projects and team discussions.The incubator provides a vibrant startup ecosystem to our students with the objective of encouraging student entrepreneurship/registered startups in our campus. Students are utilising the facility after college working hours for team discussions, prototype building, patent filing, etc. Presently, Technolabz supports eight startup teams, including two registered startups. The incubator is open to Alumni and outside student startups with a nominal rate as per the KMEA incubation policy, which is framed according to the National Innovation Startup Policy (NISP).
