B.Tech Courses

All the candidates should satisfy the eligibility criteria announced by the Government of Kerala in the Prospectus issued from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams (CEE).

  •  Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from the college office or downloaded from the college website.
  • The duly filled in application form, and all required certificates/documents along with the demand draft of Rs 500/- payable to KMEA Engineering College, Ernakulam can be submitted at the college office by hand or sent to “The Principal, KMEA Engineering College, Edathala P.O, Kuzhivelippady, Aluva, Ernakulam” so as to reach the college office on or before the prescribed date.
  • The application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Attested copies of the following documents are strictly necessary for the consideration of the candidature:
  1. SSLC Book / Equivalent Certificate
    XII / Plus Two Mark List
  2. XII Pass Certificate (CBSE, ICSE etc)
  3. Qualifying degree certificate
  4. Mark lists of each semester.
  5. Community and Income certificate for those who are claiming admission under Reservation Quota. All the documents should be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. Late and Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
  •  Applications without documents in proof for claiming admission under reservation quota will not be considered in such categories or they will be treated as the general category.
50% of the total sanctioned seats under each department will be filled up by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) from the list prepared by CEE on basis of merit and in accordance with reservation principles followed by the State Government.
 
  • The remaining 50% seats filled by the Management based on merit.
  • Out of this 50%, 15% of the total seats are filled from the Non-Resident Indian(NRI) category. Rank list of applicants will be displayed on the noticeboard.
  • Students will be called for admission counseling on the notified dates.
  • Furnishing false information or documents will result in cancellation of candidature and admission.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission (Govt/ Management/ NRI seats)

The following documents in original and two attested copies of the same should be submitted at the time of admission. Original documents once deposited will not be issued to the student for the duration of B.Tech course of four years. Sufficient photostat copies of each document should be kept with the students duly attested by a Gazetted officer for their future use during this period.

  2. Plus 2/XII Mark List
  3. XII Pass Certificate (CBSE, ICSE etc.)
  4. Admit Card of CEE-2015 in original(Only for Govt merit candidates)
  5. Rank sheet/Mark Sheet of CEE-2015 in original(Only for Govt merit candidates)
  6. Selection Memo/ Allotment sheet of CEE (Only for Govt merit candidates)
  7. Fee receipt in original
  8. Transfer Certificate (from last studied Institution)
  9. Course & Conduct Certificate (from last studied Institution)
  10. Community Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OEC/ DC/LC etc)
  11. Income certificate for those who claiming admission under Reservation Quota
  12. Migration Certificate (+2/XII from CBSE, ICSE, outside India or other than Kerala state board)
  13. Eligibility Certificate from M.G. University, Kottayam (in case of Plus 2/XII class passed from outside India or other than Kerala state board, CBSE, ICSE.)
  14. Physical fitness Certificate (in the format prescribed in Prospectus CEE-2014, Kerala)
  15. Three recent Passport size color photographs
  16. NRI certificate in original (Those seeking admission in NRI seat)
