Solar Outdoor Air Purifier (June 2023)

Extracting suspended particulate matter from air which is a major contributor to urban air pollution shows a proactive approach towards improving air quality. This leads to a better air quality index. Designing and fabricating an air purifier system based on this method powered by solar energy is an excellent initiative to combat air pollution. Using solar energy to power fans and pumps in the system is a sustainable choice as solar panels convert solar radiation into electricity, providing a clean and renewable energy source. In this project, a solar powered air purifier system was designed and fabricated. This project has the potential to make a significant positive impact on air quality, human health and environment. By combining solar energy, effective particulate matter removal and continuous monitoring, this is a right track towards achieving a cleaner and healthier urban environment.
