S1 students participated in an informative session titled “Coffee with Scientist”, where they had the opportunity to listen to an expert talk on Distributed Acoustic Sensing. The session was led by Dr. Venugopalan Pallayil, Principal Research Fellow and Deputy Head, ARL. Students actively interacted with the speaker, gaining valuable insights into advanced research areas and real-world applications, which helped broaden their scientific understanding and research orientation.
