STRUCTRA – Paper Tower Challenge

STRUCTRA is an exciting hands-on engineering challenge conducted as part of Kapricious 2026 by the Department of Civil Engineering, designed to test creativity, teamwork, and structural ingenuity. The event will be held on 27th March from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Participants are tasked with constructing the tallest and most stable tower using only the materials provided by the organizers within a limited time frame.

This event encourages students to apply fundamental concepts of civil and structural engineering, including stability, load distribution, and design efficiency, in a fun and competitive environment. Teams must strategically plan, design, and execute their ideas to achieve maximum height while ensuring structural integrity.

The towers will be evaluated based on height, stability, appearance, and overall design approach. The team that successfully builds the tallest stable structure will emerge as the winner.
